About

Hey there, welcome to a Fully Thrifted Life!

So maybe my life isn't "fully" thrifted... but here's a bit about me!

My name is Courtney and I'm a Southern California native! (Anaheim, home of Disneyland more specifically) I'm currently a sophomore attending college in LA! My major is Apparel Merchandising and Marketing---I love all things to do with fashion, sewing, and art. I also love photography and graphic design! (Check out my work on my portfolio here).

I have been thrifting since middle school when I started watching YouTube videos. Thrift haul videos and DIYs by Steph & Mel of The Fashion Citizen especially inspired me. I started thrifting because I wanted to wear clothes that no one else owned and also because I didn't have much money as a 12-year-old! In high school, I actually worked at a thrift store for a year! It was so much fun and now a good portion of my wardrobe is from thrift stores!

Not only is thrifting nicer to your wallet, it is so much better for the environment than buying new items from fast fashion stores! But like most avid thrifters, the thrill of the hunt is way too addicting... you never know what you might find!

Since being in college, I have already learned so much about the environment, organic & non-GMOs, urban farming, ethical fashion and sustainability! I really care about these issues (and so many more as y'all will see), and I hope to expand my knowledge and inspire others! So here it goes!

I am super excited to learn more about ethical fashion and sustainability, so I invite you to follow me on this journey!
